A computer security incident at CSHUB-CSIRT is an event that involve Information Technology resource that has a potential to have an adverse effect on the Confidentiality; Integrity and Availability of that resource or connected resources.

Resources include network devices; servers; storage devices and media; individual computers and mobile devices; as well as the information; messages; files;  and/or data stored on them. Prompt detection and appropriate handling of these security incidents is necessary to protect our constituent's information and communication technology assets.

The CSHUB-CSIRT is mandated to coordinate cybersecurity incidents for its constituents; for a number of incident class including amongst others abusive content; criminal activity; identity theft; and phishing.

In some instances; the level of support is specified in the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between CSHUB-CSIRT and the respective constituent.
